Deskpass Launches in San Diego

Deskpass is now live in San Diego! This sunny Cali hub joins the ranks of other major US cities available to Deskpass members: Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Boston, Miami, Portland, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

We are so excited to be expanding in SoCal and we hope you enjoy Deskpassing with us, too. Check out some of the amazing spaces below:

Union Cowork (Encinitas)

The location of Union Cowork Encinitas is pretty perfect if you ask us. It’s steps from Moonlight Beach and set inside a former warehouse. The space features patio seating and a large rollup door to let in plenty of fresh ocean breeze. Lots of amenities here, including kombucha on tap and micro-roasted coffee. Plus, they’re dog-friendly!

As a note, Union Cowork has 4 other locations in San Diego: Union San Marcos, Union East Village, Union North Park on 30th, and Union North Park on University Ave. All are available to you as a Deskpass member.

Novel Coworking (Gaslamp)

Set in the heart of San Diego’s Financial District, Novel Coworking’s Sixth Ave. building is close to the best restaurants, hotels and nightlight in the Gaslamp and Little Italy neighborhoods. Both Novel Coworking clients and their guests enjoy free access to beautiful amenity areas, including a fully-stocked kitchen with espresso bar and local beer on tap, a rooftop deck and lounge area, and coworking space. Novel indeed!

CommonGrounds (Carlsbad)

CommonGrounds’ Carlsbad is designed to inspire creativity and encourage collaboration and we’d say they’ve succeeded on both fronts. Located one block from the Pacific Ocean, you’re never too far from a daily dose of ‘vitamin sea’. Their communal seating includes booths, high chairs and tables, and comfy couches. The desk area has monitors to choose from, ergonomic chairs, and a range of desks to choose from. Sunglass ready? Then take your laptop to their outside patio.

Downtown Works (Downtown)

Prepare to connect with a vibrant community of motivated change-makers open to sharing resources and encouraging one another at at Downtown Works. As a hub for focused, driven professionals, don’t be surprised if you hear laughter around their bean-to-cup coffee machine or see members pouring themselves a craft beer during their weekly hosted happy hour. Speaking of which, Downtown Works regularly hosts productivity-boosting industry-expert workshops to keep members (and Deskpassers) motivated.

Corah Workspace (Encinitas)

Corah Workspace is a modern, community-focused coworking space in nearby Encinitas. We’d say the vibe here is friendly and collaborative, with flexible seating and a variety of spaces to work. As for the building, it’s pretty gorg: high, exposed ceilings with an airy, open floor plan and a roll-up garage door leading to an outdoor patio space.

You’re never short on caffeine at Corah — there’s coffee, espresso, tea, kombucha and cold brew on tap…at all times. Oh, and the space is only four blocks from Stone Steps Beach for all you surfers out there.

Cross Campus (Little Italy)

Set in the heart of Little Italy (yes, San Diego has a Little Italy!), Cross Campus is in the epicenter of the city’s hip downtown core. This impressive two-story brick building boasts a beautiful event space and is home to a community of members who value lifestyle, relationships, and creativity.

Location-wise, you’re in luck. Restaurants, cafes, bars and art galleries are all within walking distance and the San Diego International Airport is close as well Weekend getaway, anyone?

Ivy Street Coworking (South Park)

Ivy Street is a community driven workspace for those looking to break away from their home office, work remotely, or anyone looking for a cozy productive space. As a Deskpasser, you’ll have unlimited access to all their communal areas: shared work tables, couches, cafe tables, counter seating and their outdoor courtyard.

We personally love their private phone booths (super helpful for those last-minute client calls) and that there’s Seven Seas cold brew on tap.

Collective Impact Center (North Park)

CIC is a coworking center, event space, and community for social entrepreneurs, artists and nonprofit professionals. They boast a vibrant community of members with a strong desire to positively impact the local community. Sound like you, too? We thought so.

When you need a break from your email inbox, head to the kitchen for a complimentary cup of coffee or tea or get physical in their game room — they’ve got a ping pong table and movie streaming.

San Diego Made

The San Diego Made Factory has a beautiful coworking space with 20-plus flex desks, 8 semi-private desks, and competitive rates all within our creative community. Unlike other coworking spaces, the San Diego Made Factory is geared toward creativity, housing makers, creators, artists, and small businesses in the eclectic Logan Heights district. Other amenities include two podcasting/private call rooms and a kitchen and dining area.
